Work Plan
Listed below are the tasks which are required to ensure the project is completed satisfactorily on time:
- Keep researching the key parameters and requirements of an oscillating water column
- Finish studying MATHCAD
- Continue inputting needed equations and parameters in MATHCAD
- Start making assumptions and changing input values in MATHCAD
- Find which values are most important or affect the model most
- Come up with a satisfactory model
- Report to supervisor to see if requirements are met
- If not, tweak design and adjust it to requirements
- Draw up design
- Finish report sections on MATHCAD, model description and project conclusions
- Review full report for hand in on the 4th of April
The final report will be written in conjunction with work on the OWC design in MATHCAD starting with all background information, previous research and case studies. Once those sections have been completed, report writing will be focused on describing how the program - MATHCAD - works and how the problem was tackled until the model is complete, at which stage a complete explanation of the model will be written followed by discussion and conclusions about the project.
